"Gatsby Looking Towards the Green Light"

I have always wanted to recreate a scene from the "Great American Novel;" and The Great Gatsby was my favorite book in high school. This piece was made out of oil paint. A while after it was completed, I edited it a bit in Photoshop to give the buildings right angles, make the green light brighter yet fuzzier, etc.

Animation of 3-D Man meeting 2-D Man

This was my final project for my 3-D Modeling class during my sophomore year. In this video, I incorporated both 2-D and 3-D animation. Although this was the last project of the semester, it is one of my first projects to contain animation. The 3-D man was made in "Rhinoceros 3D," and the 2-D man was made in "Adobe Illustrator." I then placed both files into "Adobe Animator." The plot consists of a 3-D man encountering a 2-D version of himself. As a result of this, they both freak out.
