"Real-Life Cartoon" Video

I have spent my entire life watching cartoons, old and new. They are inarguably my biggest (yet broadest) influence. This video depicts everyday for me in the form of a cartoon from the 1940s. Archive audio, original animation, and editing in Premiere Pro helped this video become a success. When I presented it to my Moving Images class, the room (including my professor) was roaring with laughter. They unanimously agreed that it is my type of humor, and it "screams" who I am as a person. The cartoon audio was taken from the Internet Archive. I created the bird and "big head" animation of myself in Photoshop; and the opening and closing titles were made in Illustrator. Certain types of editing in Premiere Pro include split-screening and feathering (the door opening and closing scene), altering speed and motion (forwards and backwards) of video and audio, color coating (all scenes) and rendering.

City Narrative

Here is a humorous exaggeration about what goes on in city sewers. Like my other Illustration Narrative projects, it was drawn and shaded in pencil, outlined in sharpie, and colored in Photoshop. However, this piece in particular was also shaded in charcoal.
